Complex: How do you choose your outfit for the show?
Drake: “Me and Oliver will sit down together and figure out what’s a good look for tonight. But I like this outfit, I like this sweater, it’s Robert Geller, I wear a lot of Robert Geller.”
Complex: I’m guessing you’re outfit is influenced by the venue and the part of the country you’re in?
Drake: “The other night it was raining in Saratoga and the crowd was screaming and I could hear them from the bus, screaming. So I just threw on some black jeans, a black raincoat, a bunch of black diamonds—that’s just how I felt, wanted to come out super evil. Tonight is just… it’ll be fresh.”

Drake re-joined Lil Wayne’s “America’s Most Wanted” tour last night (August 4) in Canada to show fans how he has been holding up since collapsing on-stage last week.
Speaking to fans and later walking off with a cane, Drake also paid homage to the energy Lil Wayne brings out for his shows.
“Look, I wanna say one thing,” Drizzy told the crowd. “Before every show I’ve ever seen this man do, the greatest entertainer I’ll ever witness. Make some noise for Lil Wayne. Now listen up, before every show he does, he tells the crowd to make some noise for what they’ve created. My man, I just wanna shake your hand for what you do…” (YouTube)

After Drake re-injured his knee on stage, Chris Brown helped Young Money to keep the show rockin’ in his homestate of Virginia.
The R&B singer, who pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna, made an appearance at the tour stop in Virginia Beach. Chris Breezy came on stage at the end of Lil Wayne’s set.
Chris Breezy filled in for Drake supplying vocals for the hit Every Girl and paid homage to Michael Jackson by moonwalking on stage.
Usually, Drake would lead off the Young Money musical parade, which takes place during Weezy’s set. Instead, Jae Millz led off, followed by Lil Twist, Lil Chuckee, T-Streets, Tyga, Gudda Gudda and Nicki Minaj.
Wayne then announced that Drake would not be performing.
“I must let you know, we had a technical difficulty yesterday,” Wayne said of Drake’s status. “The n—a fell.”
Weezy went on to say Drake injured yet another ligament in his leg.
“He goes in surgery tomorrow,” Wayne said. “This is for my n—a Drake.”
Wayne also asked the audience to pray for his friend. Organizers for the tour have not put out a statement yet about Drake’s tour status, but Drizzy did tweet Miss Info after the fall: “All is well … On the bus laying down … Getting surgery this week but I’m walking. Thank my whole YM family for the help. Lion Hearts!”
Last Sunday, on the eve of the tour’s launch, Drake told MTV News he would be performing despite a torn ACL and a prognosis from the doctors that he may not walk again should he reinjure himself too severely.

MC tweets after fall, ‘Getting surgery this week but I’m walking.
Drake took a chance when he decided to perform on the America’s Most Wanted tour with an injured knee, and that chance turned out badly on Friday night, when he had a nasty fall and had to be helped offstage at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey.
The up-and-coming rapper/singer tore his ACL several weeks ago and, up until just before the tour — which also features Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy and others — began, it was up in the air as to whether he would perform at all at all. However, he decided to take a risk and play a short set, coming onstage for three songs.
In footage of the fall on YouTube, Drake is seen walking past Lil Wayne (with whom he was performing) and suddenly slipping. Within seconds, stagehands help him up and assist the badly limping MC offstage.
Rising rapper DRAKE has been forced to pull out of plans to join mentor LIL WAYNE on tour, because his injured knee has failed to heal in time.
The hip-hop newcomer was expected to preview tracks from his highly-anticipated debut album Thank Me Later during his performances on the Young Money Presents: The America’s Most Wanted Music Festival trek. Drake had hoped to have recovered enough from a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) to perform a 30-minute set, but the painful injury is still causing him problems – and, as a result, he has had to cancel his solo slot altogether. He tells MTV.com, “I’m not doing my own set. That’s one thing I have to apologise to my fans about. It’s too much of a risk, if I hit that wrong turn (doing) 30 minutes every night. If I tear my ACL again, the doctors say I might not be able to walk again. I have to be cautious.” The tour kicks off in Pennsylvania on Monday night (27 Jul 09) and Drake is determined to at least make an appearance onstage to collaborate with Lil Wayne – even if his doctors don’t approve. He adds, “I didn’t really get any approval from my doctor, but I made a personal decision 48 hours ago that I’d be letting a lot of people down if I didn’t show up and at least show them I’m there for them. “For the last two weeks, I’ve been really going hard, getting all types of acupuncture, trying to bring the swelling (in my knee) down. I’m walking around – no cane. I’ll put a brace on it. No one will probably even know I’m injured.”
