A$AP Rocky picked up a few things from touring with Drake on his “Club Paradise” tour. Now the fashion-forward MC shows his respect for his tourmate by freestyling over Drizzy’s Thank Me Later cut “Light Up.” “Fresh to death in these McQueens/ My outfit is deceased/ Alexander rest in peace/ And I’m gone,” raps Rocky, who will drop his RCA/Polo Grounds debut in July.

Before he hit the stage at the mtvU Woodie Awards in Austin, A$AP Rocky caught up with MTV Buzzworthy on the red carpet. The Harlem newcomer, whose RCA/Polo Grounds debut is due in July, flashed his grill as he shared what inspires him and what he learned from touring with Drake on the “Club Paradise” tour.
“I learned how to gain confidence, stage presence, because honestly before all of this, I was actually partying with the crowd,” said A$AP. “It really wasn’t me doing a show. It was actually me performing. Now I put on an actual show.”
