Tuesday night I was able to attend the “So Kodak” event which featured Trey Songz and Drake performing to promote Kodak’s new line of cameras. (The cameras have a special feature in which the user can easily share their photos and videos through sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr.)
Before the show started, new commercials featuring the artists were shown for the first time. After that, Trey kicked off the event by playing some of his biggest hits, including “Say Ahh,” “Can’t Be Friends,” and “Bottoms Up” (unfortunately Nicki wasn’t there for her verse).
Shortly after, Drake came on stage to much applause from the crowd, opening his set with “9 A.M. in Dallas.” Drizzy devoted many of his songs to Lil’ Wayne, including my personal favorite, “Miss Me,” and his new hit with Weezy himself, “Right Above It.” Other songs on Drake’s set: “Forever,” “Up All Night,” and, to close, “Fancy.”
Before the show, I talked to Trey Songz about So Kodak, his inspirations, and “Trey’s Angels.”
