Everybody remembers the infamous moment where Drake had quite a slip up during a performance that resulted in him being carried off stage. His injury resulted in him being further sidelined as he had to take himself away from the America’s Most Wanted Tour alongside his Young Money general Lil Wayne.

A blog titled, Angels and Demons, from the rapper updated fans on exactly what was going on with his injury and gave the full extent on his circumstances.

“I am about 2 hours away from Toronto, CA where I will be spending the next chunk of time recovering from a surgery that I now must have. I embarked on this tour with a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL and due to the events that happened the other night Lord only knows what other damage I have done.” [Read more →]

Drake re-joined Lil Wayne’s “America’s Most Wanted” tour last night (August 4) in Canada to show fans how he has been holding up since collapsing on-stage last week.

Speaking to fans and later walking off with a cane, Drake also paid homage to the energy Lil Wayne brings out for his shows.

“Look, I wanna say one thing,” Drizzy told the crowd. “Before every show I’ve ever seen this man do, the greatest entertainer I’ll ever witness. Make some noise for Lil Wayne. Now listen up, before every show he does, he tells the crowd to make some noise for what they’ve created. My man, I just wanna shake your hand for what you do…” (YouTube)

After Drake re-injured his knee on stage, Chris Brown helped Young Money to keep the show rockin’ in his homestate of Virginia.

The R&B singer, who pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna, made an appearance at the tour stop in Virginia Beach. Chris Breezy came on stage at the end of Lil Wayne’s set.

Chris Breezy filled in for Drake supplying vocals for the hit Every Girl and paid homage to Michael Jackson by moonwalking on stage.

Check out his performance with Young Money :

Drake is recovering after he took a tumble at a show this weekend, re-injuring his knee. While the rapper has made sure to send updates on his condition, his knee has also begun speaking up on Twitter. Fans at the Camden, New Jersey, stop of the Young Money Presents: America’s Most Wanted Music Festival weren’t quite sure what had happened to the rapper Friday night when he slipped on stage. MTV News reports that his already injured knee gave out while he was stage, sending him falling to the floor. Whether or not Drake would participate on the tour was up in the air, but he decided to do a short set anyway. He tripped just as he was launching into his latest hit, “Best I Ever Had.” Drake has since gone back to Toronto for a surgery to fix his knee, but he’s in high spirits and thinking about his current situation.

Twitter site features hilarious rhymes about Lil Wayne protege’s injury on America’s Most Wanted tour.

Sometimes the Internet can be a wonderful thing: Just hours after Drake re-injured his knee while performing with Lil Wayne at the America’s Most Wanted tour stop in Camden, New Jersey, on Friday night, a Twitter account surfaced called “Drake’s Knee.” It did exactly what it claimed to do: file tweets from the perspective of the rapper and his wounded knee, mostly in verse.

With his location listed as “on the ground look down” and featuring photos of Drake’s character from “Degrassi” in a wheelchair, at press time the account had already amassed 63 dispatches and more than 4,100 followers — which is no surprise, as the output is hilarious, clever and self-deprecating.

This bottle of Opus One is low but my spirits are high my friends. I am about 2 hours away from Toronto, CA where I will be spending the next chunk of time recovering from a surgery that I now must have. I embarked on this tour with a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL and due to the events that happened the other night lord only knows what other damage I have done. On the bright side I will begin the reflecting and soul searching that its going to take to make this album and my outfit on the night I fell was crack. I will forever push myself beyond the limits despite advice and recommendations given because even with this new found success I am still the kid who wanted this more than anything in the world. Its funny when I read comments from previous fans who have lost interest because of the radio play and exposure I have. I just want to assure anyone reading that nothing has changed on my end. I refuse to get comfortable, I refuse to fall in line and follow anyone elses formulas. I still work as if So Far Gone had never dropped and I’m still trying to figure out how I’m going to gain entry to this game.

“Missing someone gets easier everyday. Because, even though it is one day further from the last time you saw each other, it is one day closer to the next time you will”

See you soon.

Get well Drake. We love and support you. Take your time to recover. xo Your Fans at Drake-Online.Com

Lil Wayne tells fans at New Jersey show that Drizzy injured yet another ligament in his leg when he fell onstage.

Will Drake return to Young Money Presents: The America’s Most Wanted Music Festival?

The Lil Wayne protégé took a nasty spill onstage in Camden, New Jersey, on Friday night and had to be carried off. On Saturday night, the tour — which is headlined by Lil Wayne and features Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy Tell’em, Jeremih, Pleasure P and the Young Money family — rolled into the Nikon Theater.

Usually, Drake would lead off the Young Money musical parade, which takes place during Weezy’s set. Instead, Jae Millz led off, followed by Lil Twist, Lil Chuckee, T-Streets, Tyga, Gudda Gudda and Nicki Minaj.

Wayne then announced that Drake would not be performing.

“I must let you know, we had a technical difficulty yesterday,” Wayne said of Drake’s status. “The n—a fell.”

Weezy went on to say Drake injured yet another ligament in his leg.

“He goes in surgery tomorrow,” Wayne said. “This is for my n—a Drake.”

Wayne also asked the audience to pray for his friend. Organizers for the tour have not put out a statement yet about Drake’s tour status, but Drizzy did tweet Miss Info after the fall: “All is well … On the bus laying down … Getting surgery this week but I’m walking. Thank my whole YM family for the help. Lion Hearts!”

Last Sunday, on the eve of the tour’s launch, Drake told MTV News he would be performing despite a torn ACL and a prognosis from the doctors that he may not walk again should he reinjure himself too severely.

MC tweets after fall, ‘Getting surgery this week but I’m walking.

Drake took a chance when he decided to perform on the America’s Most Wanted tour with an injured knee, and that chance turned out badly on Friday night, when he had a nasty fall and had to be helped offstage at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey.

The up-and-coming rapper/singer tore his ACL several weeks ago and, up until just before the tour — which also features Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy and others — began, it was up in the air as to whether he would perform at all at all. However, he decided to take a risk and play a short set, coming onstage for three songs.

In footage of the fall on YouTube, Drake is seen walking past Lil Wayne (with whom he was performing) and suddenly slipping. Within seconds, stagehands help him up and assist the badly limping MC offstage.
