One day they realize that their dreams have come to fruition. Though they know all things come to an end, they celebrate. They wish that they… could have this moment 4 LIFE.
The Young Money triumvirate of Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj had a banner year filled with successful albums, buzzed about moments onstage and chart-toppers.
Drake compared the success of his and Minaj’s debuts with Weezy’s opening-week sales of Tha Carter III, saying each subsequent project further cemented the collective’s status.
“I think it’s crazy that somehow, some higher power brought all these individuals together,” Drake told MTV News on the set of Minaj’s “Moment 4 Life” video. “I remember being on the [tour] bus when Wayne played me Tha Carter III, which went on to sell a million copies in one week. Then it was Thank Me Later. It was this big pressure, and that went on to sell what it did. 
Nicki Minaj recently experienced something few new artists can claim: seeing your debut earn the #2 spot on the Billboard albums chart. The Queens native’s Pink Friday LP sold a little more than 375,000 copies in its first week of release, falling just behind Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Now the MC is prepping the video for Friday’s “Moment 4 Life,” which features Young Money labelmate Drake.
“She’s shooting hopefully on December 20,” Young Money president Mack Maine told MTV News. “We’re still trying to work out the date for the next video with [Nicki] and Drake for the ‘Moment 4 Life’ video. That’s the next project.”
We also spoke to the Young Money head about Nicki’s success and what it has meant to the Miami-by-way-of-New Orleans clan.

Did Drake and Nicki Minaj get married, or is this a big joke on Twitter? Tons of fans are going crazy about the recent tweets from Drake and Nicki Minaj. Young Money prince and princess tweeted just minutes ago about them supposedly getting hitched secretly, and all their followers are in a re-tweeting frenzy. Nicki Minaj wrote, “Yes, its true. Drake and I tied the knot.”
A little bit after, Drake tweeted, “Please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and don’t stare at her too long, She’s finally mine. ”. Sources close to both artist would not confirm or talk about anything.
