The plot thickens when it comes to the record “Afrika Bambaataa.” Weeks ago, before he went to prison, Wayne revealed on his “Nino Brown: The Road To Rikers” DVD that he was shooting a video to a song called “Afrika Bambaataa” for Drake. Everyone speculated that the song in question would be part of Weezy’s contribution to Drizzy’s Thank Me Later album. Drake knows. He knows that his debut album, due out this spring, faces stratospheric expectations. “I feel like people are gonna get it and pop it in,” the 23-year-old Toronto rapper says, “and, no matter what it sounds like—I could make the most beautiful arrangements of hip-hop in the last 20 years—and people will still be like, ‘Nope, he didn’t do it.’” That’s why he named the record Thank Me Later. Eventually, he believes, everyone will come around.

That’s right! Drake’s Thank Me Later is (one of) the biggest hyped records of 2010. Peep the little write-up

Drake – Thank Me Later Little Jimmy has come a long way from the hallowed halls of Degrassi. After the massive success of his So Far Gone mixtape led to a label bidding war, which eventually landed the Thrill from Forrest Hill with a multi-million dollar deal with mentor Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment, the young MC is set to release one of the most anticipated debuts in hip-hop history. With guest-spots by such heavy hitters as Jay-Z and Kanye West, Zit Remedy it ain’t.
