Just in time for summer, French Montana shakes things up with Rick Ross, Drake, and Lil Wayne on “Pop That,” the first single off his Bad Boy debut Excuse My French, due July 17. The strip club anthem samples 2 Live Crew’s raunchy single “Pop That Pu**y.” A video was shot in Miami over Memorial Day weekend. Twerk!

During the “Club Paradise” tour stop in Philadelphia over the weekend, Drake and Philly’s own Meek Mill teamed up to shoot the video for “Amen” off Meek’s mixtape Dreamchasers 2. The tourmates performed on the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art where Rocky was filmed. Cameras

Nicki Minaj and Drake are going back in time—way back. The Young Money rappers lend their voices to the 3D animated film Ice Age: Continental Drift, in theaters July 13. The “Starships” rapper plays a woolly mammoth named Hailey, while Drizzy transforms into a mammoth named Ethan in the prehistoric film, which also stars Jennifer Lopez, Queen Latifah, and Ester Dean. Get a first look at their on-screen characters in the trailer below.
On this week’s episode of the resurrected MTV celebrity prank show Punk’d, Ashton Kutcher returns to pull the rug out from underneath Drake. Convincing the Canadian-born rapper that he is going to meet Vice President Joe Biden, Kutcher manages to fake an entire seismic event complete with a pregnant woman and tasers, and a noticeably shaken Drake has some pretty hilarious reactions. Say what you will about the man in the trucker hat, but that’s a freakin’ impressive deception. Check out the clip below (which also sees Kanye’s girlfriend getting pranked.)

Drake and Lil Wayne are being sued for over $400,000 by a company that’s claiming that they bailed on a club appearance. Both Drizzy and Weezy are saying that they were never told about any gig with Imperial Entertainment Group.
The judge ordered them to pay $432,337.50 and they really ain’t having it. Drake and Wayne want the court to cancel the judgement and the $400k. That’s a bit crazy! Let’s hope no contract was signed in this whole mess. If you were in Drake and Lil Wayne’s situation would you pay?

Drake is known for penning lyrics about old flames, but the girl he called his “first love” on “Karoke” is one that he never lost touch with. While in Atlanta, Drake reconnected with his ex-girlfriend, Jade Lee, who Drake revealed he wanted to marry, but she moved to Atlanta to pursue a career in wedding planning.
On the track Drake rapped,
“Isn’t it ironic that the girl I wanna marry is a wedding planner? that tells me my life’s too much and then moves to Atlanta. I know they say the first love is the sweetest, but that first cut is the deepest”
However, it seems that the two are both enjoying their current success and have managed to still remain friends. Jade posted a photo of the two in Atlanta with the caption, “10 Years ago we use to dream about being a rapper and an event planner.”
Seems like everything worked out how they planned it, as Jade is now the owner of the successful event company “Love Lee Affairs” and Drake is an international superstar, who showed his status by popping bottles with 2 Chainz at the after party for his “Club Paradise” tour.
