While American celebrate the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, the Canadian had Juno Awards held on April 18 to honor musicians in the country. Dominating the Sunday awards show with multiple nods were Michael Buble and Drake.

As for Drake, he won over Justin Bieber, Danny Fernandes, Carly Rae Jepsen and Shiloh for New Artist of the Year title. When collecting the prize, the rapper gave his teen fellow singer a shout out, “Justin Bieber, you work really hard and I wanna share this with you.” He also got another trophy for Rap Recording of the Year.

Other Canadian musicians who walked home with more than one award in their hands included K’naan and Metric. Furthermore, Kings of Leon were handed with International Album of the Year, beating Britney Spears, Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift and Susan Boyle.
