Drizzy Drake ‘Thank Me Later’ Competition

Drake has teamed up with OurStage to celebrate the release of his album “Thank Me Later” and give an aspiring artist their big break. Alternative Hip-Hip, Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B and Soul artists can upload their hottest track to the Drake “Thank Me Later” Competition Channel for the chance to open for him at the Caribana Concert, at the Molson Amphitheatre, in Toronto, Canada on August 1, 2010.

One lucky winner will be selected out of the Top 30 ranked artists in the Drake “Thank Me Later” Competition Channel to:

Open for Drake at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Canada on August 1, 2010. The duration of the winner’s performance will be determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor.
Receive tickets to attend Drake’s show at the Molson Amphitheatre. The Grand Prize Winner will be given a total of 4 additional tickets for guests.

OurStage will provide each individual (if a solo act) or group with up to two thousand dollars ($2,000) to offset travel expenses to attend the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Canada.

Artists must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Individual artists or a band member must be a legal resident of the 48 contiguous United States, Washington, D.C. or Canada. One song submission per artist will be accepted into the competition. Accepted genres must fall into the following R&B and Urban genre-based categories on OurStage: alternative hip-hop, hip-hop, rap, r&b, and soul.

Entries must contain vocals and must be accompanied by musical backing track.

Winning act must provide proof of a valid Canadian or US passport prior to departure.
