Would’ve came back for you
I just needed time, to do what I had to do
Caught in the life, I can’t let it go
Whether that’s right, I won’t ever know
Hope you forgive me, never meant wrong,
Tried to be patient, and waited too long,
But I would’ve came back,
But I would’ve came back for you,
Would’ve came back,
Would’ve came back, [Read more →]

If you were planning to buy Drake tickets to his Light Dreams & Nightmare tour you might want to do it soon! Billboard recently released an article saying that Drake’s tour is 80% sold out! Read below for more information. To find Drake tickets in your area now, Click Here!

About 18 months ago, Drake’s business manager Shawn Gee and ICM booking agent Robert Gibbs mapped out a touring plan that aimed to have the Toronto MC playing arenas by his second album. So far, the blueprint to build the rapper’s touring profile — a commitment rarely seen among hip-hop acts — is on track.

In support of his full-length Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown debut, “Thank Me Later,” Drake launched his 25-date Light Dreams & Nightmares U.S. tour of large theaters and small arenas Sept. 20 with two sold-out shows at the James L. Knight Center in Miami. At press time, about 80% of the trek was sold out, Gibbs says.

In addition to Miami, sellouts include New York’s Radio City Music Hall (Sept. 28-29), Atlanta’s Fox Theatre (Oct. 6) and the Chicago Theatre (Oct. 13-14). The jaunt also includes two radio show festival dates and an Oct. 30 appearance at Voodoo Experience in New Orleans. It concludes Nov. 6 at the Joint in Las Vegas.

The show’s first live in-studio guests are Hip-Hop sensation Drake, as well as the cast of the forthcoming film The Social Network (Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake).

“MTV has played a pivotal part in my career from the beginning and I look forward to being a part of ‘The Seven’ from the start,” Drake told AllHipHop.com in a statement about the new program. [Read more →]

Drake recently chatted with PopEater on the set of his So Kodak campaign shoot. He says his music is life driven and that we’re all vulnerable. He also says that Kanye West‘s raps are very ego-driven…maybe he didn’t mean it like that but he proceeds by stating that he tries painting pictures for others through his lyrics.

Drake lays his game down flat on Bun B’s “Put It Down,” from the certified classic Trill O.G.

“I just bought a car/ The n—a Pimp owned it,” Drizzy rhymes on the chorus, paying homage to UGK’s Pimp C. “I threw some tints on it/ He would have loved it how/ Put it down, put it down.”

In his guest verse, the Toronto native says, “I got 100 girls in each phone/ Drizzy Drake mane, Young Sweet Jones.” [Read more →]

There was one conspicuously absent person Sunday night during Drake’s performance of “Fancy” at the VMAs. Drizzy had special guests Swizz Beatz and Mary J. Blige join him onstage, but the other person who performs on the album version of he record, T.I., was not there. Tip has been dealing with matters more important than entertainment lately.

T.I. was arrested for alleged drug possession in Los Angeles at the beginning of this month, and there is a chance that his probation could be revoked.

While rehearsing for “Fancy” at the VMAs, Drake sat down and reflected on his friend’s circumstances. [Read more →]

Drake says when his Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour kicks off next week, the lineup will be a little different than originally announced. Instead of having the Clipse open the upcoming tour, he’ll keep it to the home team with Tyga.

“Me and Tyga. Family thing,” Drake revealed last week during VMA rehearsals for his Sinatra-inspired performance at the Nokia Theatre. “I love the Clipse. That’s why initially I was like, ‘Man, I wanna go out with them.’ Huge Clipse fan my whole life. But it’s one of those things, man. Me and Tyga being family — both being young, new — it made more sense to head out there with him and take on the world on some YM, Young Money. Ironically, the last tour date is the day Wayne gets home.”
